Highlights

Point 1

Experience the Powerful Performances of the Ocean King, Orcas

Kamogawa Sea World Experience the Powerful Performances of the Ocean King, Orcas
Currently, orcas can only be seen in two aquariums in Japan: Kamogawa Sea World and Nagoya Port Aquarium. The orca performance, where you can see the ocean king's powerful jumps and splashes with the Pacific Ocean in the background, is a must-see! Unlike dolphin shows, the orca performances are full of power, and at the end of each performance, the audience is enveloped in applause and cheers. The seating capacity is very large, accommodating up to 2,000 people. However, when sitting in your seat to enjoy the show, you may get wet from the splashes, and depending on your seat, you may even get soaked enough to need a bucket of water poured over you. If you don't want to get wet, don't forget to bring a raincoat, which is also sold at the venue. If you want to enjoy the show without getting wet, you can watch from the standing room behind the seats.
Point 2

Rare Beluga Performances to be Seen

Kamogawa Sea World Rare Beluga Performances to be Seen
The "Marine Theater," located relatively close to the main gate, is an indoor facility where you can see the white Beluga swimming and performing. In the "Beluga Performance," a performance using the latest technology such as an explanation of the special communication ability of whales called "echolocation" visualized by ultrasound on a monitor is presented, and it is very impressive. There is also a "Discovery Guidance" (interaction program) where you can touch the round forehead of the Beluga and take photos together behind the Marine Theater. Advance purchase is required at the "Discovery Guidance Ticket Sales Office" in the center of the park, so please purchase early. Please check the official website for the purchase of participation tickets during weekends, holidays, Golden Week, and long vacation periods, as a purchase order card is required.
Point 3

Performance of the Famous "Laughing Seal"

Kamogawa Sea World Performance of the Famous "Laughing Seal"
At Rocky Stadium, located near the West Gate (on the side of the official hotel), you can see the cute movements and tricks of the seal family. The expressions and gestures of the seals are also adorable, and their heartwarming performances are a must-see! The "laughing seal" performance, which is the climax of the show, is a traditional art of Kamogawa Sea World, and there is also a discovery program called "Laughing Seal and Commemorative Photo." Taking a commemorative photo with a smiling seal will surely become a special memory of your visit to Kamogawa Sea World.
Point 4

Dolphin Performances and Commemorative Photos with Dolphins

Kamogawa Sea World Dolphin Performances and Commemorative Photos with Dolphins
At the Surf Stadium, you can enjoy performances featuring acrobatic jumps and speedy swimming by bottlenose and false killer whales. Be sure to pay attention to the combinations that make use of each dolphin's unique characteristics! Additionally, the Discovery Programs at the Surf Stadium offer a variety of activities, such as "Touching Dolphins" and "Commemorative Photos with Dolphins." At the Dolphin Sea, located near the West Gate (official hotel side), there is also a Discovery Program called "Communication Time," where you can experience what it's like to be a trainer by giving signals to the dolphins. This is a must-see for dolphin lovers!
Point 5

Experience a Tropical Island Atmosphere

Kamogawa Sea World Experience a Tropical Island Atmosphere
At the indoor facility "Tropical Island," which reproduces the natural environment by cutting out the characteristic parts of the coral reef under the theme of "walking underwater in the southern sea," you can see colorful tropical fish swimming. The must-see attraction at Kamogawa Sea World is the "Infinite Sea" tank, which has a depth of 7.5 meters, the deepest in the park. The digital aquarium "Coral Message," where fish drawn by yourself swim in the "Coral Sea" projected on a huge 7-meter-wide screen, is a spot that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
Point 6

Stay at an Official Hotel with Plenty of Perks

The aquarium has a hotel attached to it, where you can enjoy staying in rooms with an ocean view. Those staying at the official hotel can enter Kamogawa Sea World as many times as they want, and there are perks for families with children, such as the ability to explore the aquarium in the morning and evening, and plans that come with a jumbo stuffed animal. The hotel also offers facilities and amenities for children, such as a kids' room and child-sized toilet seats, footstools for the sink, indoor wear, and slippers. Baby food is available for free as a menu option, and there is also a baby bath available in the large public bath for those with infants who are not yet toilet trained, making it a worry-free service for families with babies. Staying at the official hotel is highly recommended for those who want to fully enjoy Kamogawa Sea World!
Point 7

At Kamogawa Sea World, there are various restaurants and food stalls. As for large restaurants, there are Restaurant "Ocean", Food Court "Mauri", and the buffet-style restaurant "Sun Cruise" available only on weekends and holidays. At Restaurant "Ocean", you can enjoy a meal while watching the orcas underwater through the window. The "Orcal Rice with Hayashi Sauce (with soup) made with Chiba pork" and the "Ocean Parfait" with orca-shaped cookies are not only cute but also become a memorable part of your visit to Kamogawa Sea World. At Food Court "Mauri", take-out menus such as curry and pasta are sold, so it's recommended to enjoy your meal at the outdoor tables on sunny days!
