あきたびキャンペーンを利用し、1泊2食のプランにして宿泊しました。 食事の満足度がとにかく素晴らしく、稲庭うどんや皆瀬牛など地元の素材をふんだんに使用した創作料理が、他では見掛けないような一風変わったメニュー尽くしで、夕食・朝食共にどれも美味しく頂けました。 お部屋については一般的なイメージの和室にベッドがズドンと置かれているスタイルに初見ではびっくりしましたが、布団が苦手な自分にはむしろちょうど良く、和室の雰囲気を味わいながらふかふかのベッドで熟睡できました。 檜風呂は温泉を直接引いてきているため、蛇口を捻ってから暖かくなるまで5分ほどかかるのは難点でしたが、ヒノキの匂いを感じながらの天然温泉が個室でも楽しめるのはご時世的にも嬉しい点でした。 ネットの写真ではやや浴槽が小さいようにも感じましたが、実際入ると狭さは特に感じませんでした。 受付横の売店コーナーは現在は無い様子で、浴衣やアメニティの置かれたスペースになっていました。 チェックイン時に好きなサイズとデザインの浴衣に加えてお風呂場用のバッグを選べるので、食事会場では宿泊者それぞれの浴衣がバラエティに富んでいて、個性が出るのが面白かったです。 大浴場は洗い場が3つにお風呂が1つと、最小限と言った形ではありましたが、総部屋数が少ないこともあって他の宿泊者の方とかち合うことが少なく、ほぼ貸し切り状態で本場の天然温泉を堪能できるのも嬉しい点でした。 露天風呂と蒸し風呂についても現在営業許可の申請中で、近々オープン予定とのことでした。 スタッフさんの対応についても、近場での観光場所やイベントなども教えて頂いたりなど大変良くして頂き、終始気持ち良く過ごすことができました。

山菜や地元食材を使ったコース料理が絶品です。 夕食も朝食も食べきれないほど豪華でした。 お料理目当てに再訪される方も多いのではないでしょうか。 子連れで宿泊しましたがお子様ランチも用意してくれて、子供用アメニティにかわいい浴衣もあったので喜んでいました。 温泉もとろみのあるお湯でめちゃくちゃつるスベお肌に!温度は熱めで子供は入れませんでしが、子供用アンパンマンの浴用イスと桶がありました(^o^) 山奥のお宿だけあってお部屋はそんなに綺麗じゃなく虫がいたので(仕方ないことですが)☆ひとつ減らしました。 他は大満足でオススメです。

お料理とても良かったです。 前菜が6種類もありました。皆瀬牛にぎり、岩魚一夜干し、焼きミニトマトの中にはいぶりがっこチーズが入っていたり、味や見た目で楽しませてくれます。前菜だけで、日本酒が進みます。地元にしか流通しない限定酒があるのでオススメ。 生産者が一軒しかない幻の皆瀬牛がステーキで食べることができます。 一品一品丁寧に手作りされていて、秋田県の郷土料理を堪能するには最高の宿です。 朝食も、炊きたての、あきたこまちが驚きの美味しさでした。 食材も地産地消のこだわりを感じました。 フロントにある、水出しアイス珈琲もオススメです。 もう少しで、貸し切りの露天風呂や蒸し風呂が利用できるようです。見学させてもらいましたがマッサージ機もあり貸し切りで贅沢できる空間でした。
