Bandai Azuma Skyline "Fudosawa Bridge" is a Great Photo Spot
Tsubakuro Valley's Fudosawa Bridge is one of the best scenic spots on the Bandai Azuma Skyline. It is said to be named Tsubakuro Valley because swallows used to fly around there. Fudosawa Bridge spans the valley, with a depth of about 80 meters to the bottom. From the top of the bridge, you can enjoy a magnificent view. In addition, from the Tsubakuro Valley parking lot, you can see the entire bridge, and especially during the autumn foliage season, the contrast between the bridge and the foliage creates a beautiful scene. Let's take a photo of the bridge, which looks like it's floating in the sky.
Point 3

"Tengu no Niwa" is also a great spot for autumn leaves!

Bandai Azuma Skyline "Tengu no Niwa" is also a great spot for autumn leaves!

Tengu no Niwa is also a popular spot for autumn leaves, along with Tsubakuro Valley. The view of the entire mountain slope dyed in red and yellow is a must-see. It is also counted as one of the "Azuma Eight Scenic Views", so why not enjoy some autumn leaf viewing?

Bandai Azuma Skyline Popular Stopover Hot Spring: Takayu Onsen
After enjoying a drive, touring, trekking, and other activities on the Bandai Azuma Skyline, it's recommended to heal your fatigue at the hidden hot spring of Tohoku, "Takayu Onsen". Takayu Onsen was ranked first in the "National Hot Spring Satisfaction Ranking" by Jalan in 2021. Its simplicity of "nothing but hot springs" has led to its great popularity. The biggest attraction of Takayu Onsen is that it is a "100% natural hot spring" that is not touched at all. It is a genuine "natural hot spring" drawn from the source. After enjoying the magnificent view, soak in the hidden hot spring and refresh your body and mind.

Free Passage on the Bandai Azuma Skyline!
The Bandai Azuma Skyline restarted as a general prefectural road in July 2013. It was changed to a permanent "free tourist road," allowing for free passage. However, it's important to note that passage is not always guaranteed, as traffic restrictions may be implemented depending on weather conditions and volcanic activity levels. In addition, in cases where there is a risk of road surface freezing due to snowfall, the road may be closed. When visiting, be sure to check the traffic restriction information before heading out.
