R7.1.2 小倉に大好きな担々麺があり食べに来た時、初詣にやって来ました。 商店街から近くにあったので歩いて行けました。 小倉城の隣に八坂神社入口の前には幾つかの番傘並べられていてとても風流な光景でした。また、屋台も沢山出ているし、複合施設「北九州リバーウォーク」もすぐ側なので少し歩くだけで色々と楽しめる場所ですね。 都心を感じつつ、一歩足を踏み入れるととても静かで厳かな雰囲気の神社です。

今日は北九州下見の旅に出ましたので、ちょっと御朱印の旅もやってみました。 まだ雪のチラつく北九州、先ずは八坂神社から始めました。地図も良く見て無かったのですが、リバーウォークの横やったんですね。 早い時間に行ったのもあって、全く混んで無くて良かったです。 登りも今から立てられる所でしたが、駐車場に停めたら邪魔やったらしいですけど、それならそれで言ってくれれば良いのに、見るだけで何も言われなかったのでそのまま置いてたんですけど。 御朱印は、その場で書いて貰えました。

~小倉城とセットで絵になる神社~ 都会の真ん中にある神社で、驚いたのは手を洗う「手水舎(てみずや)」です。普通、ひしゃくですくって作法があったりするのですが、こちらは自動センサーです。つまりトイレのお手洗いのように手を出すと水が出る仕組み。 ここまでくると、情緒がない。 ただでさえ、木造建築物で囲まれた境内から鳥居の向こうのリバーウォークの黄色い壁面が見えており、チグハグな印象です。 TDLのように世界感が壊れるものは、目隠しする工夫がほしいです。雰囲気は良いので非常にもったいない感じがしました。
