4月上旬は約2000本の数が 見頃になります。 今年の 桜の 満開予想は 4月5日に なっています。 桜祭りも 4月5日(土) 4月6日(日)に 予定されています 11月は紅葉、3月下旬は 2千本の桜が、例年見頃に なります。 近くの源氏物語ミュージアムや 宇治上神社も 紅葉の 名所です

宇治川の中州にあります。 川の流れやかかる橋が美しいです。 ベンチも複数あり座って休憩できます。 京都市街地を流れる鴨川の両岸より空いているのでゆったりできると思います。

宇治川を眺め一息。たまにトランペットを吹いている方も居ます。公園内に海鵜の小屋と高さ15メートルの石塔があります。魚の霊を供養する為、建てられた石塔らしいです。
