たまたま通りかかったので、全く期待せず立ち寄ったのですが、想像以上に良い施設でした。 昆虫、植物、鉱物に興味のある我が子が、とても楽しんでいました。 全体的に、きちんと管理されているのを感じました。 スタッフの方々も感じが良くて、飼育している生き物のことを教えてくれました。 たまたま団体さんと時間が被ったようですが、それでも人が少なかったので、ゆったりと見て回ることができました。 あと、受付で使い捨てスリッパをいただけて嬉しかったです。

2023年10月頃訪問、ゴミアシナガサシガメというレアな昆虫を見に行った。 ちょうど怪物昆虫という企画展が開催していて楽しめた。それ程広い博物館という訳ではないが動植物を中心に見どころがたくさんある。かなりり本気な博物館だった。 ゴミアシナガサシガメについて学芸員さんに色々聞いていたら虫籠から出して見せてもらったり、得難い経験が出来、良い休日だった。

真-カブトムシを見に行きました。ほんとは怪物昆虫を見たかったけど…。学芸員の方と話もできて行ってよかったです。
