平日しかやっていません。また、正倉院「正倉」外構の公開のみです。申込手続不要、無料ですが、宝物は公開していません。 詳しくはHPでご確認ください。宮内庁管轄で観光スポットというには適当では二かもしれませんが、平日限定は珍しいです。 近くに行ったら少しは見られるかと思いましたが、塀に囲まれていて見えませんでした。

正倉院展の開催期間中は毎日午前10時から午後4時まで一般公開されているとの事で訪れました。 教科書等で写真では見たことがありましたが、やはり実物を目の前で見るとその大きさ、迫力に驚きました。一度は見ておきたい建築物だと思いました。 なお、1997年に国宝に指定され、1998年には「古都奈良の文化財」の一部としてユネスコの世界遺産(文化遺産)にも登録されています。

今年も恒例のおとなの秋遠足行ってきました。 今年は魚のモチーフのアクセサリーが可愛かったです。 近鉄奈良駅から約1,800m(徒歩約25分) 奈良交通バス「今小路」から約600m(徒歩約8分) 同「大仏殿春日大社前」から約1,100m(徒歩約15分) 正倉院には駐車場はございません。
