When it comes to Shimizu Park, its authentic athletic course is very famous! Divided into three sections - adventure, challenge, and water - the athletic course is just like the TV show "SASUKE"! The water course has a high probability of getting wet, even for those with good motor skills, so bringing a change of clothes and shoes is essential! Even if you do get soaking wet, there are shower rooms, washing machines, dryers, and lockers in the park, so you can rest assured. While children as young as three can try it out, 70% of the course is not recommended for elementary school students or younger! There is a separate athletic course for toddlers, so it may be better for preschoolers to enjoy themselves there!

At the "Pony Ranch" located in a corner of Shimizu Park, you can enjoy interacting with cute animals such as ponies, rabbits, guinea pigs, and owls, making it highly recommended for families. In addition to horseback riding and feeding experiences, there are also plenty of play equipment for infants and toddlers, so even children who are too young to play on the field athletic equipment can play safely here. Reservations are required for admission, so don't forget to make a reservation if you plan to visit the Pony Ranch!

Shimizu Park is famous for its cherry blossoms, azaleas, and autumn leaves, but the "Flower Fantasia" flower garden located within the park is especially popular among girls who love cute things. Seasonal flowers such as roses, cosmos, peonies, and wisteria are divided into different areas, allowing you to take photos and leisurely stroll while feeling your heart flutter. On the second floor of the greenhouse where you can see tropical plants, there is a restaurant that is recommended for lunch or a break.

When it comes to summer water play, the "Aqua Adventure" area at Shimizu Park is highly recommended! Divided into a maze zone and an aqua zone, it offers athletic elements while allowing you to have fun getting wet in the water. The water slide and mechanism where water flows down from a big bucket are sure to excite children! The area around the playground equipment is a shallow wading pool, so even babies who can sit alone can enjoy it! During the dry season, the equipment can be used as usual, making it enjoyable almost year-round.

At Shimizu Park, there is a huge BBQ facility that can accommodate up to 1000 people, allowing everyone to enjoy a lively BBQ together. All cooking areas are covered, so you can enjoy even in the rain! There are two sessions, one during the day and one at night, and you can choose from a plan where you bring your own ingredients or a plan where ingredients are included. After exercising to your heart's content on the athletic grounds during the day, why not enjoy some BBQ meat and beer in the evening session? How about it?

Shimizu Park Campsite offers a place where you can easily enjoy outdoor activities surrounded by nature. The campsite area has 14 auto-camping sites and 34 bungalows where you can stay, as well as a free space where you can enjoy day camping only. There is also a BBQ hut nearby, and many camping goods and equipment are available for rental and sale, so even beginners can enjoy outdoor activities with peace of mind! The bungalows are equipped with air conditioning and there is no need to set up tents, making it especially recommended for women's gatherings and families with infants and young children.

Near the campsite, there is a fishing pond where you can enjoy rainbow trout fishing. There are plenty of rainbow trout swimming in the pond, so even children can easily catch them once they get used to it! You can have the caught rainbow trout salt-grilled for an additional fee, or cook it yourself at the BBQ area. The fish you catch with your own hands is exceptional! It's also perfect for educating children about food.
