Muroto Dolphin Center

The Muroto Dolphin Center is a facility where you can interact and experience with dolphins. Programs such as fence-side viewing and dolphin touch are available. In addition to being able to see dolphins up close, there are also feeding experiences. The Muroto Dolphin Center was renovated in 2020 and is operated by the Japan Dolphin Center. They are committed to providing programs for interacting with dolphins and dolphin-mediated activities, with the theme of health and beauty secrets. The Muroto Dolphin Center is also known as one of Muroto City's tourist attractions and is an attractive spot for travelers. To access the Muroto Dolphin Center by car, take the Nankoku IC exit from the Kochi Expressway, then enter Route 55 and head towards Muroto. It takes less than 2 hours to arrive. If coming from Tokushima, it takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes to pass through Muroto Cape and then about 5 minutes to arrive. If using the train, get off at Nahari Station on the Gomen-Nahari Line, transfer to the Tobu Kotsu Bus, and it takes about 50 minutes to get to the Muroto Sales Office. After getting off at the Muroto Sales Office, it takes about 5 minutes on foot to reach the Muroto Dolphin Center.

The entrance fee for the Muroto Dolphin Center is 500 yen including tax for adults (junior high school students and above), 400 yen including tax for children (4 years old to elementary school students), and free for infants (3 years old and under). Muroto residents can enter for free at all times for up to four people per group (proof of residency is required). In addition, dolphin training sessions are held every day, but they may be canceled depending on the weather or the dolphins' condition, so please check in advance before visiting.
