Highlights

Point 1

Enjoy the Safari Zone Even in Your Own Car

Fuji Safari Park Enjoy the Safari Zone Even in Your Own Car
One of the famous features of Fuji Safari Park is that you can tour the safari zone in your own car! Driving through the vicinity of the animals, such as lions, tigers, and giraffes, they may appear right beside or in front of your car, allowing you to see them up close. The park offers a different kind of enjoyment from a regular zoo, with a powerful impact. You can observe the animals at your own pace, freely stopping and carefully observing them. Additionally, the safari zone at Fuji Safari Park offers beautiful scenery with Mt. Fuji in the background, allowing you to enjoy the view while touring. It's important to note that opening windows or doors from inside the car is prohibited, so please make sure to observe the animals only through the car window.
Point 2

Jungle Bus Tour of the Safari Area

Fuji Safari Park Jungle Bus Tour of the Safari Area
The hugely popular Jungle Bus is a large vehicle that can tour the safari zone, and its appearance is quite impressive! The bus has no window glass and is covered in wire mesh, allowing you to feed animals such as bears and lions. You can get up close to the animals as they approach for food, making for an exciting experience. You can see lions, tigers, zebras, giraffes, and other animals up close, giving you the feeling of being on an African safari. Tickets can be reserved and purchased in advance, but about 90% of the tickets are sold as same-day tickets. They are sold on a first-come, first-served basis from the opening time, and on holidays, they may sell out early, so if you want to ride, it's best to buy your ticket early!
Point 3

Interact with Various Animals in the Area

Fuji Safari Park Interact with Various Animals in the Area
When it comes to Fuji Safari Park, the image of touring the safari zone by car or bus is strong, but the well-equipped petting zone is also attractive. The petting zone is divided into "Petting Farm" and "Animal Village". At the "Petting Farm", where you can interact with capybaras, red pandas, ponies, and other animals, you can get closer to the animals and take commemorative photos with them, as well as enjoy feeding them. At "Animal Village", you can see not only small animals such as guinea pigs, but also squirrel monkeys, hippos, and leopards. There are indoor facilities such as "Dog House", where you can enjoy seeing about 40 popular small dogs as pets, "Cat House", where you can interact with rare cats from around the world, and "Rabbit House", where you can interact with cute and rare types of rabbits and also feed them.
Point 4

See Many Baby Animals

Fuji Safari Park See Many Baby Animals
At Fuji Safari Park, various types of baby animals are born. So far, baby zebras, cheetahs, squirrel monkeys, red kangaroos, capybaras, and lion cubs have been born, making it popular among visitors who can see their cuteness up close and observe their way of life. Among them, the lion cubs are especially popular! Their cute features and fluffy fur are distinctive, and you can see them napping and playing. There are also limited events where you can listen to animal explanations about the babies from the keepers, gently touch their backs, and take photos.
Point 5

A Souvenir Shop with a Wide Selection of Limited Edition Items

The "SAFARI SHOP" souvenir shop is a must-see at Fuji Safari Park, with a wide selection of perfect souvenirs such as various animal plushies and animal-themed sweets exclusive to the park. The "Animal Expedition" binoculars come in three designs: yellow tiger, pink leopard, and orange giraffe, and are perfect for children to carry around with the neck strap while touring the safari. There are also souvenirs such as sencha tea with cute animal illustrations on the package that adults will also enjoy. There are plenty of recommended items for commemorating your visit to Fuji Safari Park, so be sure to take a look.
Point 6

Experience Walking around the Safari Zone

At the Safari Zone, you can experience the "Walking Safari" where you can tour on foot, not just by car or jungle bus. You can freely explore the nature-filled course that is about 2.5km along the fence outside the Safari Zone in 90-120 minutes, and even experience feeding lions, zebras, llamas, deer, and more. It's a valuable program that offers a different experience from touring by car or bus.
Point 7

Restaurants with Menus Shaped like Animals

In addition to the Safari Restaurant at Fuji Safari Park, where you can sit down and enjoy a meal indoors, there are also convenient food stalls and bakeries for when you get hungry or want a snack. The Safari Restaurant even sells baby food, making it a safe and worry-free option for families with infants. The handmade bread at the bakery comes in a variety of cute animal shapes that are sure to delight children, such as "Elephant Salt Bread," "Baby Tiger Melon Bread," and "Mischievous Lion Mentaiko Cheese Bread." The bakery takes great care in both the appearance and taste of their bread. The bakery also offers bread-making experiences, which can be a fun memory to make during your visit while creating cute animal-shaped bread.
