Takao-san is a mountain that can be reached in about an hour from Shinjuku. It is 599 meters high and can be climbed in about an hour and a half from the foot of the mountain. There is also a cable car and lift up to the middle of the mountain, so families with small children can enjoy it with peace of mind. Please enjoy the changing expressions of the mountain trees depending on the season!

Route 1, also known as the "Omotesando" course, which is a course for visiting Yakuo-in, is a perfect hiking course for beginners. Takaosan, located right by the last stop on the Keio Line, Takaosanguchi Station, is a mountain climbing course that even beginners can enjoy with excellent access by train. Just after getting off the train, there is a cable car and lift station, so those who lack confidence in mountain climbing or want to reach the summit in a short time can also take the cable car or lift up to near the summit. Wheelchair users can take the elevator installed at Takaosanguchi Station to get on the cable car.

新宿から1時間弱で訪問できる東京の大自然。 手軽にハイキングや登山が楽しめる観光スポットとして、首都圏を中心に多くの観光客が訪れる山です。その数は年間約300万人とされ、世界一の登山者数を誇ります。 標高は599mですが変化に富んだ複数のコースを四季を通じて楽しめます。 ※代表的な登山ルート ・1号路:舗装された登りやすい道、飲食店や薬王院など見どころが多いコース ・6号路:滝行を行える琵琶滝や沢歩きを楽しめる、水と緑の豊かなコース ・稲荷山コース:別の尾根(稲荷山)を経由する長めのコース。展望台からの眺望が良い。 他にも吊り橋を経由するコースや相模湖や陣馬山へ抜けるロングコースがあるります。また、ケーブルカーやリフトで1号路の中腹まで移動することも可能です。老若男女、山歩きに自信の無い方から経験豊富な方まで楽しめます。 麓の高尾山口周辺にも名物のとろろ蕎麦のお店や土産店、日帰り温泉や宿泊施設が立ち並んでいますので丸1日楽しめる、都内屈指の観光スポットの1つです。 ■料金:入山無料 ■アクセス性:登山口(1号路、6号路、稲荷山コース)までのアクセス:京王高尾線「高尾山口駅」徒歩5分 ■補足:※ミシュランガイド三つ星獲得(2007年)

2024.11.28 お天気も良く紅葉も最高に綺麗でした! ため息が出るほどの素晴らしい紅葉です。 見たことない大きなミミズがいました。 写真にもありますが30センチ以上の大きなミミズがいました。(靴のサイズは24cmです。) ロープウェイは使わず行き帰りと1号路で行きました。 ロープウェイでは見れない紅葉もあるので、紅葉目的の方は登山をオススメします。 しかし、かなりの勾配なので初心者の方はは覚悟は必要です。若い女子でオシャレブーツで登山されていた方がいてかなり辛そうで心配になりました。 帰り坂がキツくかなり足にきてしまいました。 頂上には綺麗な富士山が見られます! 海外の方も撮影してる方が多く見られるほど本当に見事な富士が見られます。 売店もあります。ビールも売ってます。

登山口からルート1を登りました。始終舗装路なので登山感はないです。 急な坂の公園って感じですね。 登山口からケーブルカーの上の駅までは30度強の坂道が続きハードモードです。下りもキツかった。同じ角度なら階段のほうが楽かも。 ケーブルカーの駅から薬王院、そこから山頂までは全然楽です。 登り1時間40分、下り1時間20分ですが、頑張れば往復2時間でいけます。 山頂から横浜、富士山方面が、 中腹からは東京方面が見渡せます。 猿・鹿がでることもありますが餌やりは禁止。 熊は広告だけありました。
