The Mitaka Forest Ghibli Museum is a spot where you can feel like you've entered the world of Studio Ghibli's stories. Here, you can experience various Ghibli works such as "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Castle in the Sky". There is also a small movie theater inside the facility, so both children and adults can enjoy it.

A Must-See for Studio Ghibli Fans! Permanent Exhibition Reveals the Production Process

At the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, the production process, background art, character designs, and more from Studio Ghibli works are on permanent display. The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka regularly holds special limited-time exhibits and events. For example, the "Future Boy Conan" exhibit currently being held since May 28, 2022, uses setting materials and image boards created during the production process to unravel the world view and story of the work. Since there are many exhibits that can no longer be seen after the period ends, those who are interested should visit and see them for themselves.

The "Tryworks" reading room in the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka Forest has books recommended by director Hayao Miyazaki and the museum on display. The books were collected with the idea of "wanting children to see, touch, and feel mysterious things." Take a look and find your favorite book from among them. By the way, the name of the reading room is said to be derived from the name of the town, Mitaka.

Recommended to Walk or Take the Bus from Mitaka Station

The Mitaka Ghibli Museum is best accessed by walking from either JR Mitaka Station or JR Kichijoji Station. It takes about 15 minutes from the south exit of JR Mitaka Station and about 20 minutes from the park exit of JR Kichijoji Station. Along the way from Mitaka Station to the museum, there are many cute signs that can serve as landmarks. Additionally, if you use the community bus that runs from JR Mitaka Station, you can arrive at the museum entrance in about 5 minutes.

映画の世界観が理解できてとっても楽しかったです。一作品を作るのにこれ程のお手間がかかっていたなんて、大変驚きました。お外は、お写真の撮影可能ですが、中は撮影❌でした。駐車場は、井の頭公園の駐車場一時間400円程度だったかな。予約制となっている為に、当日ポコッと行っても入れませんので、事前にご予約を🎟️ 入場券はフィルムで出来てて、中の映写機みたいなので、投影して見ることが出来ました。大変楽しい時間でした🎵 どうもありがとうございました😊

数年ぶりに三鷹の森ジブリ美術館へ行きました。三鷹駅や吉祥寺駅から向かうことが出来ます。外観は写真OKですが、館内は写真撮影等NGです。館内にはジブリ作品に関わる様々な資料や歴史を見ることが出来ます。内容は是非見に行って体験して欲しいです。グッズを買える「マンマユート」特にジブリ美術館限定商品は絶対に要チェックです。ついつい私も買いすぎてしまいました笑併設されたカフェ「麦わらぼうし」旗付きのメニューとここでしか買えないビールはジブリ好きなら抑えてほしいです。また、店内の電気のデザインも可愛いので見てほしいです。美術館がおすすめする本が紹介されている「トライホークス」今回はここでとても面白い体験ができました。ジブリ美術館は入館時に、短編アニメーションが見れる「土星座」にも必要な入場券がいただけるのですが、その入場券にはジブリ作品のワンシーンがフィルムで載せられています。写真にも載せているこのロウソクの火のシーンが何の作品かわからずスタッフの方にお聞きするとめちゃくちゃ真剣にどのシーンか調べてくださって、見事解決してくださいました。とてもジブリ愛を感じることができました。きっと対応してくださったあのお姉さんもこのロウソクを見たら誰の事かわかると思います笑是非この口コミを見た方もどの作品のシーンか考えてみてください！笑紹介したところ以外にも、ありとあらゆるところに楽しめるポイントが隠れていますので是非行ってみてください！ただし、完全チケット制でチケットは２ヶ月前に販売されますので計画をたてて行きましょう！※詳しくはHP等を調べてみてくださいね。

まずは、まだまだ人気なので行く時期や曜日によってはチケットを手に入れにくい場合があります。チケット販売1ヶ月前の10日でローチケなどでネット出とる方がとりやすいかも…。館内は写真撮影禁止なので、写真を撮る時間がない分ゆっくりと見てまわれます。動画の成り立ちなど分かりやすく説明していてなるほどと思って観ることができます。。屋外では撮影可。フィルムチケットは実際使用したフィルムの1部らしくどれも同じものがないのでレアだとのことでした。ここはテーマパークではなく、美術館なのであまり大きな敷地ではないけれど、ジブリ好きには嬉しい空間です。
