The second is "Hakodate Menchubo Ajisai Honten," famous for its Hakodate salt ramen. Both restaurants have long lines during lunchtime, but their flavors are sure to impress! Be sure to visit and try them out.

Parking

Numerous Paid Parking Lots in the Surrounding Area!
In the vicinity of Goryokaku, there are numerous paid parking lots available for tourists, such as the Hakodate Goryokaku Tourist Parking Lot and the Hakodate City Art Hall Parking Lot C. All of the parking lots are relatively large in size, and there is usually little congestion. However, during the cherry blossom season in spring, they tend to fill up quickly and there may be a waiting time for entry, so be careful. The fees for all parking lots are not significantly different, so it's recommended to park in an available spot.

Anyone Can Enjoy a Free Stroll at Goryokaku Park!
Goryokaku Park is a popular tourist spot designated as a special historic site by the government, but anyone can freely enjoy a stroll through the park for free. The "Hakodate Magistrate's Office" in the center of the park requires an admission fee of 500 yen for adults, but it's a spot you'll want to visit if you have the time as it has many valuable exhibits related to the Boshin War. While strolling is free, please note that entry to the inner citadel is restricted to certain times.
