道すがらに数多の妖怪が出迎えてくれる。車で通るだけでも楽しい。 気に入った妖怪は路肩に駐車して写真を撮るとよい。

大歩危駅から、駅から散歩で訪問。駅より歩いて15分ほどで、妖怪街道の入口に。そこから、妖怪達に会いながら、こなきジジイまで30分ほど。 森のなかを散策しながら、妖怪達に会いに行く、そんか散歩も楽しいものだ。

妖怪街道と言うだけあって、山道のところどころに妖怪のオブジェが点在している。施設にはなっていないので、がっかりしないように! オブジェのそれぞれに妖怪についてや伝承の説明が書かれていて、妖怪の学習ができる。 公園になってる場所には駐車できるスペースもあるが、車を停めるとオブジェからオブジェまでの距離がけっこうあるので、道は狭いが交通量が少ないので、写真撮影の間は路上駐車もやむ無し。 突然現れる藤むすめは、リアルに怖い。
