邪馬台国比定地の第一、山門郡瀬高町清水山にある女山神籠石✨邪馬台国の城塞だったのだろうか⁉️周辺には古墳や遺跡、神功皇后や中大兄皇子の伝説など多数。女山から眺める筑後平野は魏志倭人伝の世界そのもの。卑弥呼の館も発見⁉️

瀬高自動車学校の前の道を高速と並行に進めばいいから迷う心配ナシの立地。途中列石が途切れてる箇所もあるんで全体を見てまわるにはわりと時間がかかる。所々随所に説明看板や石碑があるんでみやま市……ってより旧瀬高町の気合いの入れ具合が伺いしれる。4か所ある水門も2ヶ所はほぼ原型をとどめているので歴史的価値は高かろう。

神功皇后が敵対勢力を追い詰めた場所です。展望台からの景色は予想以上に素敵です。神功皇后側の動きが、手に取る様に見えていたはずです。神籠石は、大きさが揃えられた石が隙間無く建てられており、戦国時代の石垣より石の加工手間がかかっているように感じました。
