内海と海に囲まれた州砂に真水が湧くのは地殻変動や日本の地形成り立ちなど複雑な自然形成の結果でしょうが不思議です。 天橋立神社の手水舎として利用されているようです。

昔は「日本三景」の美しい天橋立にキレイな美味しい水の出る井戸がありました。と あの「和泉式部」が。大切にしたいですね。和泉式部と言えば「大江山いく野の道の遠ければ まだふみもみず天橋立」の「小式部内侍」の母ですが、彼女は訪ねて来れたのでしょうか?。(丹後へは生野の里から。大江山はあの頼光四天王の降臨した所では無く、大枝山とか。小式部が、藤原定頼と仲直りして訪ねるドラマは出来ないか(笑))
