拝殿前の大きな椿の木が綺麗に花を咲かせていました。いい季節に行ったと思います。 どこか女性的な雰囲気の漂う神社です。 参拝客も他と比べて若い女性(だいたい女性同士)が多かったような。 鏡の池の縁占いは、カップルや夫婦がおこなうと、結果によっては気まずくならかいか心配です。

出雲松江旅行最終日、4日目に訪問 松江駅からバスで約20分 バス停を降りるとすぐに神社です 社務所で薄い半紙のような紙をいただき(100円)、お社後方にはの鏡の池と呼ばれる神池に紙を浮かべて紙の上に100円玉(10円玉でも良い)を乗せて池に浮かべると、お告げの文字が浮かんできます。紙が遠くの方へ流れていけば、遠くの人と縁があり、早く沈めば、早く縁づくといわれているようです 夫婦椿は、地面から出ている2本の木が地上で一本になるという、一心同体、愛の象徴として神聖視されています

子宝で有名な神社。 たまたまの巡り合わせで行きました。 この日は曇っていたのですが 八重垣神社に着くと一気に晴れて 清々しい天気になりました。 空気が澄んでいて落ち着きます。 その時は子どもが欲しいなと なんとなく思っていて八重垣神社は 子宝の神社だからという理由で 子宝の御守りを買いました。 池に紙を浮かべて沈むのが早いと 縁結びに良いと聞き、やってみると みるみるとすぐに沈みました。 その後、すぐに妊活する事になり、 次の月にはすぐに子どもを授かりました。 本当にびっくりです。 鏡の池も子どもとの縁だったのかな?と 今考えたら思います。 2回目の参拝では子宝の御守りを返納し、 安産祈願の御守りを購入しました。 また、お礼しに行きたいと思います。
