鎌倉駅から寿福寺、英勝寺を見たあとは閑静な住宅街を通り海蔵寺まで行くことをオススメします。 海蔵寺も鎌倉らしく岩をくり抜いた祠を持ち自然と一体となった景観を楽しめます。

四季折々の花が咲く、鎌倉の花の寺として有名。拝観料はなし。遠目でしか見ることはできないが、本堂の裏には禅宗寺院のよく手入れされたお庭がある。
