At the Hot Spring Mark Memorial Hall in Isobe Hot Spring, you can learn about the history of the hot spring mark. Every year from November to February, Isobe Onsen decorates the hot spring town with illuminations. In 2022, as usual, they were set up in three locations: Isobe Park, Kaze no Komichi, and Isobe Station. The illumination is lit from 5pm to 11pm. You can enjoy a fantastic illumination while strolling through the hot spring town. In addition, there are also illuminations of hot spring symbols and other productions that are typical of the hot spring town. You can check the duration of the illumination on the official website. Isobe Onsen Wild Kingdom: Gunma Safari Park!
Gunma Safari Park, located about 25 minutes by car from Isobe Hot Springs, is also known as the Wild Kingdom. It's a zoo where you can interact with various animals in nature. It's the only safari park that keeps Sumatran elephants, and a wide variety of animals such as lions, tigers, zebras, and giraffes are allowed to roam free on the vast grounds. You can tour the grounds by car or bus and get up close and personal with the animals. There are also feeding experiences where you can give food to large animals. In addition, there are bird flight shows, horseback riding experiences, and athletic facilities, so you can spend the whole day with your family. We recommend visiting the park as a set with sightseeing or accommodation in Isobe Hot Springs!
