Access

Renting a Car is Recommended!
To access Appi Kogen, if using public transportation, first arrive at JR Appi Kogen Station. It's about a 5-minute drive from the station, so it's convenient to use a taxi or rental car. If using a personal car, take the Matsuo-Hachimantai IC on the Tohoku Expressway and arrive after about 15km (about 15 minutes) via Prefectural Route 45 and National Route 282.
