通称トレイン・ミュージアム。山手線・京浜東北線・常磐線・高崎線・京成本線を行き交う電車から各路線の新幹線まで様々見ることができます。現地看板によると1日2500本も通るらしい。 池袋駅近くの跨線橋からもいろんな路線と電車を見れますが、日暮里駅を出てすぐのこちらの方がアクセスと本数は上かな。

日暮里駅前にある、鷹狩り装束の太田道灌騎馬像の傍らで、山吹の花を手にした少女の銅像が佇んでいるのをご存知でしょうか。 この像は、山吹の花を少女が道灌に捧げたという「山吹の里伝説」の地にふさわしい作品として、荒川区顧問で彫刻家の平野千里氏が制作し、平成三十年五月、日暮里駅前に設置されました。
