Highlights

Point 1

Enjoy Seasonal Flowers

Herb Garden Travel Diary Enjoy Seasonal Flowers
At the herb garden, which is one of the highlights, you can enjoy the various seasonal flowers that bloom throughout the year. In spring, cherry blossoms and tulips bloom, while in summer, roses and sunflowers bloom. In autumn, cosmos blooms, and in winter, carnations bloom in the greenhouse. Illuminations are also held in winter. The park is carefully maintained so that visitors can enjoy it in any season, and there are plenty of spots for taking photos. Why not take some lovely photos with your family and friends?
Point 2

A Must-See for Alcohol Lovers! Enjoy Wine

Herb Garden Travel Diary A Must-See for Alcohol Lovers! Enjoy Wine
The "Katsunuma Winery" located within the park is a shop where you can purchase wine produced in Yamanashi Prefecture and Katsunuma Town, which is featured in the Herb Garden Travel Diary. In addition to being able to taste original wines in the store, they also sell about 70 types of wine produced in the prefecture. For children and drivers, we recommend trying the juice "Grape's Blessing" made from grapes used in wine production. This delicious juice, which has won the Monde Selection Gold Award for 8 consecutive years, is popular.
Point 3

Enjoy Handmade Experiences

Herb Garden Travel Diary Enjoy Handmade Experiences
At the "Handmade Workshop" located in the park, various handmade experience classes are held that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. You can experience making a "gel candle holder" that encloses dried flowers in gel, a "kaleidoscope frame" made by embroidering a frame on canvas, and the popular "herbarium making". Each experience takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour, making it easy to participate and recommended for making children's school projects.
Point 4

Enjoy Original Blend Tea

Herb Garden Travel Diary Enjoy Original Blend Tea
At the Herb Garden Cafe, which has both indoor and terrace seating, you can enjoy seasonal fruit parfaits, soft serve ice cream, and more. Among them, the highly recommended item is the herbal tea, which is divided into themes such as diet, relaxation, and beauty. The herbal tea, which is themed around refreshment, allows you to choose your favorite flavor from a variety of herbs such as lemongrass, lemon balm, and peppermint. They also offer rare types of herbal tea, so be sure to try them out.
Point 5

Enjoy an Original Hot Spring Foot Bath

Herb Garden Travel Diary Enjoy an Original Hot Spring Foot Bath
Inside the park, there is a fully equipped foot bath where you can enjoy hot water infused with the components of herbs, including the rose geranium, also known as the "beauty herb." It's only open from autumn to spring, making it a popular spot to take a hot break during the cold tourist season. In autumn, you can soak in the foot bath while enjoying the autumn leaves of the nearby maple trees. Please note that towels and other items are not available for rent, so be sure to bring your own when visiting.
