ここは恋人たちの聖地ということで、昔この地を訪れた明治天皇がその美しさに感動し、「傒后阪(きみまちざか)」という名前をつけたそうです。その時に皇后から天皇に対して、このきみまち(君待ち)坂で待っている、という内容の手紙を渡したエピソードが残されており、これが「恋文のまち」として有名になったエピソードだそうです。 そんなこの場所にあやかり、妻と結婚する前には何度か訪れていましたが、久しぶりに子供も連れて行ってみました。雄大な景色と丁寧に整備された庭園はあの頃から変わらず、なんとなく甘酸っぱい記憶が蘇ります。四季によっていろんな表情を見せてくれるそうなので、いろんな時期に立ち寄ってみたいものです。

初めて来ました。きみまち阪公園~😊道の駅の帰りに寄ってみました。 🍁紅葉まつり開催中🍁 写真はR4,10,30現在の紅葉の様子です。もう少ししたら染まる所もありましたが、今しかない見れない赤、黄色、緑のコントラストがステキでした✨全部染まるのが見たい方はもう少ししてから行くのがおすすめです🍁 階段や上り坂が続くので、歩きやすい靴で行くといいと思います。
