Adjacent to the Korekawa Stone Age Site, the Korekawa Jomon Museum conducts surveys and exhibitions of buried cultural assets. The "Gassho Dogu," which was designated as a national treasure in 2009, is a must-see. Access

Access is about 10 minutes by car from Hachinohe IC!
To access the Konoike Jomon Museum by public transportation, first take the South Bus bound for Konoike Jomon Museum from JR Hachinohe Station. However, the bus only runs on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Get off at the final stop, Konoike Jomon Museum bus stop, and it's about a 5-minute walk from there. If you are using a private car, take National Route 340 via Hachinohe IC on the Hachinohe Expressway and you will arrive at Konoike Jomon Museum in about 10 minutes, covering approximately 4 km. There are guide signs along the road, so please follow the directions to your destination. The Konoike Jomon Museum exhibits artifacts and information related to the Jomon period, providing interesting insights and excavated items to see. In addition, there are also Jomon period ruins and natural environments in the surrounding area, making it a great place to visit for walks and learning.
