Access

Access in about 20 minutes by car from Owani Hirosaki IC!
To access Saisho-in by public transportation, take the Shin-dera-machi bound bus from JR Hirosaki Station on the Konan Bus. Get off at Hirosaki High School Mae bus stop, which is about a 3-minute walk away. There are several buses per day, so it's convenient to check the timetable beforehand. If you are using a car, get off at Owani Hirosaki IC on the Tohoku Expressway. From there, take National Route 7 and it takes about 20 minutes, or approximately 10km, to get to Saisho-in. Follow the road signs to arrive at your destination.
