Senjojiki Coast is a coastline of rock formed by an earthquake in the 4th year of the Kansei era, and is part of the Tsugaru Quasi-National Park. It is located just a short distance from Senjojiki Station, an unmanned station, and tourists can take a stroll here. In particular, the "Resort Shirakami" rapid train stops for about 15 minutes, making it more convenient for tourists. Senjojiki Coast offers a beautiful view, so much so that it has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 sunsets. Its unique feature is the spectacle called Senjojiki, which is formed by tuffaceous mudstone. It has also been certified as one of Japan's top 55 beaches, so you can enjoy swimming and marine sports here!

Access

Access via the "Resort Shirakami" Rapid Train!
Chitosejima Beach is located in Fukaura Town, Nishitsugaru County, Aomori Prefecture. It's just a one-minute walk from JR Chitosejima Station, and you'll arrive as soon as you cross the road from the station. Chitosejima Station is an unmanned station, but the "Resort Shirakami" rapid train, which stops for about 15 minutes for tourists to explore, also operates. As a point to note, we recommend checking the train schedule.

美しい場所。珍しい岩、荒々しい日本海、斜面のつらら、どれも見応えはある。 端からゆっくり見学すれば小一時間位かけることも出来る。 冬場は周りの飲食店か軒並み休業 駅舎は無く 風除けスペースが無いのが難点。 しかし 晴れていれば、 カイロと自動販売機のホットドリンクで 1時間位なんとか耐えられる。

目の前に駅もある景勝地。 普通に青森から秋田方面に南下しているとあります。 海も穏やかな季節はとても素敵でした!冬はちょっとぞっとしますが。ドライブがてら立ち寄るのはありだと思います。

深浦にあるスポット。 とても景色が良い海岸で、岩や波しぶきなどもとても見応えがある。 冬の時期は駅近くの岩に氷のカーテンができる。
