Soak in your preferred hot spring and relieve yourself of the day's fatigue. The hot spring area is divided into "Tsuchiyu Onsen" and "Tsuchiyu Toge Onsen Village," but you can enjoy the "hot spring atmosphere" regardless of which area you visit.
Point 2

The hot spring town also has a "giant Kokeshi" installed, which has become a popular spot for taking photos. If you visit Tsuchiyu Onsen, be sure to try the "Kokeshi painting experience." The "Yuai Stage" exhibits over 2,000 Kokeshi dolls and accepts group painting sessions. Enjoy a Footbath Tour in Tsuchiyu Onsen
Tsuchiyu Onsen has four spots where you can enjoy footbaths, so why not take a stroll through the hot spring town and try a footbath tour? The recommended footbath is "Shinai no Yu". The roofed bathtub is made of Hinoki cypress, and the scent of Hinoki wafts gently through the air. The bathtub is spacious enough for about 10 people, so enjoy a conversation with your travel companions. It's also recommended to enjoy a variety of footbaths such as "Tsuki no Yubije", "Shimo no Yu", and "Kajika no Yu"!
Point 4

Tsuchiyu Onsen Savor the Famous Konjac Gourmet!
At Tsuchiyu Onsen, it's recommended to try the gourmet dish of "konjac" soaked in hot springs, which is a specialty of Tsuchiyu. The konjac from "Konnyaku Kobo Kinkan" is popular and has a "pure taste" without using any coloring or preservatives. Among them, the most popular among tourists is "konjac ice cream". Its chewy and bouncy texture is addictive, and many repeat customers come back for more. Unlike regular ice cream, it doesn't drip even when it melts, which is also a great point!

Enjoy the History, Hot Springs, and Flowers of Tsuchiyu Onsen
Tsuchiyu Onsen is located in the western part of Fukushima City. Legend has it that hot water sprung from the spot where the god Ōana no Kami pierced the ground with his spear, which was then named "Tsukiyu" and later changed to "Tsuchiyu". At Tsuchiyu Onsen, you can enjoy the history, hot springs, and flowers. In particular, the history and tradition of "Kokeshi" dolls are very long, and it's not an exaggeration to say that "Tsuchiyu Onsen cannot be discussed without Kokeshi". Enjoy the flowers throughout the four seasons and then indulge in the "Kokeshi culture" after soaking in the hot springs.
