Matsukawaura Fishing Port was once a popular port known as one of the best in Japan, but suffered from reputational damage due to the tsunami and nuclear accident after the Great East Japan Earthquake. To dispel these negative associations and revive the bustling atmosphere of the past, "Hamanoe Station Matsukawaura" was built as a symbol. Inside the facility, you can enjoy freshly caught seafood to your heart's content. The seafood bowl, especially made with seasonal seafood, is very popular. Unonosaki Lighthouse, built in 1953, is a white lighthouse standing on a hill in Unonosaki Cape. The contrast between the blue sea, green pine trees, and white lighthouse is a beautiful sight to see. Although the inside of the lighthouse is not open to the public, a promenade has been built to the lighthouse, allowing visitors to take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Matukawa-ura Bridge is a sea bridge created by a sand spit, with a total length of about 520 meters. The view from the bridge is magnificent, and the sea breeze is pleasant, making it a popular course for running and cycling. On clear days, you can see "Kinkazan" in the Pacific Ocean. At night, the bridge is lit up in various colors, presenting a completely different appearance from daytime. Why not enjoy a night date on the beautifully illuminated Matukawa-ura Bridge?

If you visit Matsukawa-ura during the summer, we recommend playing at the beach. Harakamaohama Beach is located right next to "Hamanoeki Matsukawa-ura" and offers 272 free parking spaces, public showers, and public toilets. It's famous for its shallow beach and gentle waves, so even small children can play in the water with peace of mind. During the beach season, many food and drink stalls are also set up. After swimming, why not enjoy a meal on the sandy beach?

Ohama Children's Park was built right next to the Haragama Ohama Beach. The plaza has a total of 10 types of playground equipment, with areas designated for infants, toddlers, and children so that each age group can enjoy themselves. The large roller slide and ropeway are very popular among elementary school students. In "Umauma Happy Land," where cute play equipment is placed, infants and toddlers play with all their energy.
