Access

Access the Site Conveniently with Jomon Taxi!
When accessing the Gosono Site by public transportation, it's about a 5-minute drive from Ichinohe Station on the Iwate Galaxy Railway. If you use Jomon Taxi, you can receive a subsidy by submitting your receipt at the museum reception. Alternatively, you can also access the site by bus from Ichinohe Station, which takes about 10 minutes. However, bus services are limited to the period from April to November. If you're using a private car, it takes about 5 minutes and 5km via National Route 4 from the Ichinohe IC on the Hachinohe Expressway.

世界遺産の縄文期の文化展示施設です。再現住居群があります。遺跡を回ると結構見応えもあり時間がかかりますね。

ここは、とても綺麗でしたよ。子供達には外も楽しめます。栗、とちのみ、どんぐり古代の人達が食べた 木の実が沢山ありました

東北北海道の縄文遺跡群が世界遺産に登録されてから、あちこちの遺跡を行ってみましたが、ここの博物館と遺跡復元展示はそれらと比べてもかなり充実してると思います。建物も2003年の建築学会東北作品賞やグッドデザイン賞を受賞しておりアプローチからして凝った造りでした。遺跡見学はボランティアガイドの説明付きツアーがあるのでそれに参加すれば面白さ倍増です。
