Access by Car is About 25 Minutes from Matsuo-Hachimantai IC
To access Matsukawa Onsen by public transportation, you can take the Iwate-Kita Bus bound for Matsukawa Onsen from JR Morioka Station. The journey takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes, and you can get off at the final stop or other stops. Using the bus is a relatively easy way to access the hot spring area. If you are using a private car, you can reach the area by taking Route 23, 212, and 45 via Matsuo-Hachimantai IC on the Tohoku Expressway, which takes about 16km and 25 minutes. By following the road signs, you can arrive at Matsukawa Onsen.

乳白色の泉質は言うことなしで、浴室の設えが素敵です。 シャワーやカランが無いのですが、素敵な設えで問題なく洗髪洗身できます。 是非1度行ってみて欲しい温泉宿です。 フロントで貴重品と携帯電話を預けます。 お風呂場への携帯電話の持ち込みは禁止されています。 そういう所も大好きです。

松川温泉の最深部、泉質はこの上ないものです 芯まで温まり、硫黄の香りが各種効能を期待させます まさに自然のパワーを貰っているかのようです お料理も、味付け、品数、地理的な要素、値段的な要素、いろいろ含めて、ハイクオリティだと思います ただただありがたい この山奥でこんなお料理がいただけるとは、という気持ちになります どの小鉢も美味しいのですが、個人的には雪ウルイがなんとも言えない美味しさでした 更に、ご飯が足りなかったらおにぎりを握ってくださってお部屋まで運んでいただいた 感激です! 30年前に一度宿泊させていただいて以来ですが、とてもとても満足しました ありがとうございました! ただ一つだけ…惜しいのでぜひ書かせて下さい そこまで至れり尽くせりだったのに、夕食の岩魚の唐揚げを、定期的に給仕しているらしい塩焼きにして欲しいとチェックインの際にお伝えしたら、事前に教えて欲しかったとのこと 仕込み的にもそこまで問題なかろうと思い、チェックイン時にお伝えしたのですが、まだ遅かったようです(もう14時のチェックイン時には揚がっていたから??) こちらのわがままなので強くは言えませんが、今回お料理的に味噌系が3種類、塩系が0種類だったので、岩魚を塩焼きにすると醤油、味噌、塩味のバランスが取れた御膳になったと思います 私は県内在住ですが、県外から来るお客さんにも、源流部という地理的な要素を鑑みると、岩魚は野趣あふれる塩焼きをご賞味いただいたほうが宿がお伝えしたい主張がより伝わると思います 星5つで最高ですが、おおげさながら画竜点睛を欠く、そこが満たされれば県内でトップだと感じます あと、短角の陶板焼は、まず肉を除いた状態で蓋を閉めて野菜をある程度蒸し焼きに その後蓋を取って、肉を片面2分ぐらい、裏面1分ぐらい焼くと短角らしい仕上がりになりました これはお宿の方ではなく、お料理を頂くこちらが工夫することです お宿には、火をつけるタイミングを自分で調節できるようにチャッカマンを預けていただいて、感謝感謝です もともと脂身が少ないため硬くなりやすい肉なので、さっと焼く方が短角の旨味を味わえると思います 最後に お宿から浴室へのスマホ等の機材持ち込み禁止とのお達しがあるにも関わらず、お風呂場の写真がクチコミに上がっているのはルール違反、マナー違反の方が明らかにいる証拠 これでは秩序が乱れる 日本秘湯を守る会に代表される秘湯を大切にしようという概念は、店側だけでなく客も努力するべきことがあると強く感じる 自分勝手に己の欲を満たすことではなく、本当に大切にすべきことは何なのか、今の個人主義の時代だからこそ余計に客側にも考えてもらいたい

雪の中の再訪問、それも30年以上前。まずボンネットバスで来られて旅行気分が増した。部屋は昔のままの旧館に泊まった。ジャワーなくて驚いたがなくても快適。全てが温泉で感動。露天風呂は適度にぬるくて長く浸かっていられた。ボコボコ温泉が出る場所に長くいた。外人が沢山いたが、あまり外人に知られてほしくない気持ちが強い。どこいてもうるさくて、、文化は強要できないがマナーは守ってもらわないと。料理は山の中なのに新鮮な食材が多く良かった。でも岩魚は塩焼きではなくて唐揚げ。。唐揚げって鮮度悪くなるとスーパーで唐揚げにするイメージが強くて苦手だった。揚げ物を甘い味噌でいただくのは鮮度隠しそのものではないかと思ってしまった。外人のいない深夜や朝にゆっくりと露天風呂に浸かれて良かった。朝のコーヒーとお菓子がとても寛げた。私の備忘録として書いている。
