アクセスが三陸道から離れているので、少し行きづらいですが、リアス式海岸を眺めるならここが一番!大自然を体感することができます。 海岸まで降りれるみたいですが第2展望台でもそれなりに歩きますから、体力に自信がない人は第1展望台でいいと思います。

駐車場は無料でトイレも清潔。三陸有数の景色を堪能できる場所です。調子に乗って遊歩道を海岸まで下りると地獄の帰路が待ってます。510段の階段は膝関節と心をへし折るには十分なボリューム。汗だくになる覚悟も必要です。

断崖絶壁とはまさにこれ!崖上の遊歩道も階段があり所々に展望台ありそこでも写真は綺麗に撮れます。そこで辞めときゃいいのに欲張って下の階段で海岸まで降りたくなるのが人間の性… ほぼ垂直かと思われる階段で体力の無い方は100%後悔します。行きは何とかなりますが帰りはガチ登山です。膝の笑った状態で登ってきた階段を見ようと後ろ振り返ったらスーッと落ちそうです。 そりゃそうです。写真の位置から海岸線まで下るんですから…笑 何メートルだよ!って感じ…ちゃんと何段ありますと書いてあるのですが行けると思うんですよね…旅行ってなんか麻痺してる。 普通のマンションでも1フロア階段で上がれば20から30段ですよね。頭のいい人は降りる前に考えますよね。 冬でも大汗、夏はやめましょう。
