On the second floor, the "World of Kamen Rider" welcomes visitors with a pose struck by Kamen Rider 1. Surrounding him are masks of Showa-era Riders on display, with a line-up of Kamen Riders that is sure to excite fans of the series. As you venture further in, masks of Heisei and Reiwa Riders are also on display, making it a must-see spot for those who have recently become fans of the series. Ishinomori Manga Museum Become Kamen Rider!
Inside the museum, there are various attractions that can be experienced by purchasing a prepaid card separately. "Transform!" and other lines are spoken while waving your hand over the points on the screen, allowing you to experience transforming into Kamen Rider yourself. This is a very popular attraction even among young children. In "Ride the Cyclone!", you can operate the Cyclone while watching the images projected on a large screen, allowing for a thrilling experience. As soon as you enter the second floor permanent exhibition room, you'll be transported into the world of the "Cyborg 009" research lab. Life-size cyborg warriors are on display, and the sound and visual effects create an immersive world of cyborgs. The observation cafe "BLUE ZONE" on the third floor can be entered even without an admission ticket. You can enjoy the magnificent view of the famous Mt. Hiyoriyama and the North River right in front of you from the large windows. Limited collaboration menus are also available in conjunction with special exhibitions. Regular menus include "Cyborg 009 Meat Sauce Pasta," "Robocon Perfect Score!? Chicken Rice," and children's curry rice. The "Kamen Rider Strawberry (u) Parfait" with a Kamen Rider 1 decoration is a must-see for Kamen Rider fans!

On the first floor, there is a goods shop called "Sumizushi Itteki," which sells a large number of original and limited edition goods from Ishinomori's works, including Kamen Rider, Cyborg 009, and Robocon. Among the many products that fans of the works will love, there are also collaboration products with local specialties from Ishinomaki and a local coffee shop that roasts its own beans, making it the perfect place to find souvenirs from Ishinomaki. Near the souvenir shop, there is also a spot where you can sit next to Kamen Rider on a bench and take commemorative photos.

"Ishinomaki Manga Road" is a must-visit spot for fans of the works of Shotaro Ishinomori, where many character monuments of the famous manga artist are lined up. From JR Ishinomaki Station to the Ishinomori Manga Museum, the city is filled with not only monuments, but also benches, posts, and manhole covers featuring Ishinomori's characters, allowing visitors to enjoy the world of manga while walking. Ride the Manga Train Wrapped in the Works of Shotaro Ishinomori

Riding the "Mangattan Liner," a train wrapped in the works of Shotaro Ishinomori, is recommended for visiting the Ishinomori Manga Museum. You may be lucky enough to encounter it on weekdays, but it operates every Sunday on the "Senseki Line Mangattan Liner" from JR Senseki Line Aoba-dori Station (departing at 10:48) to Ishinomaki Station (arriving at 12:14). Be sure to check the official website for the schedule, as it may change. If you visit Ishinomaki Station by riding this train, you will receive a commemorative certificate as proof of riding the Mangattan Liner from the Ishinomori Manga Museum. The certificate also serves as a booklet introducing information about the train and the highlights of the manga station building at Ishinomaki Station, and you can get a stamp with the date you rode on it, making it a great memory of your trip. Admission to the permanent and special exhibition rooms is 900 yen for adults, 600 yen for middle and high school students, 250 yen for elementary school students, and free for preschoolers. During the period when the special exhibition is being changed, only the permanent exhibition is available, and the fees are 750 yen for adults, 500 yen for middle and high school students, and 250 yen for elementary school students. The paid zone includes only the 1st floor video hall and the 2nd floor (permanent and special exhibition rooms), while the 3rd floor library corner and cafe are free zones. In addition, on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and during long vacations such as spring, summer, fall, and winter breaks, a free passport for elementary and junior high school students in Miyagi prefecture is available, so don't forget to bring it if you have one!

In the Nakase area, where the Manga Museum is located, there are no contracted parking lots other than those for people with disabilities. The closest parking lots are the "Ishinomaki Kawamachi Multi-level Parking Lot" and the "Nakase Park Yawata-machi Parking Lot". The "Nakase Park Yawata-machi Parking Lot" can accommodate up to 43 cars and is free of charge. The city-operated "Ishinomaki Kawamachi Multi-level Parking Lot" offers two hours of free parking. In addition, there are several designated parking lots for the Ishinomori Manga Museum, and if you present your admission ticket or annual passport, you can receive one hour of free parking service. Don't forget to show your ticket at the reception desk.

If using public transportation, the nearest station is Ishinomaki Station on the JR Senseki Line, JR Senseki Tohoku Line, and JR Ishinomaki Line, which can be reached in about a 12-minute walk. You can visit while enjoying the Ishinomaki Manga Road and see monuments of Ishinomori's works. In addition, you can take a highway bus from the bus stop in front of Eden (bus stop No. 21) in front of Sendai Station. It takes about 70 minutes to arrive at Ishinomaki Station by bus bound for Ishinomaki.

仙台旅行時に行きたかった場所。 仮面ライダーとサイボーグ009が好きでしたので、訪問時は009の特別展がしていたのは タイムリーでした。受付の女性スタッフさんも00ナンバーのコスプレをしていたのは 良かった。 石巻駅から萬画館までの道には石ノ森先生の キャラが点在していて写真を撮りながらの 道中も楽しめた。 今回の特別展のお土産も買えて満足でした。

ライダーファンです。 石ノ森萬画館に来訪! 施設の建物が素晴らしく 注目するほど斬新! 掴みはOKですね。 入場して受付のお姉さんが 009コスチュームでお出迎え! 適正価格でIN! なかなか良いですね。 ローカル匕ーローは シージェッター海斗ですね。 映像を拝見しました。 ココでしか見れない! 最高でした。 親子連れも多く 楽しい場所です。 皆様も機会があれば 是非!オススメです!

何故か画像を投稿するとクチコミが表示されなくなりました。 多くの方に見ていただけるのが嬉しかったのですが残念です。 誰にも見られませんがせっかくの思い出なので、いつか改善される事を願いながら残します。 サイボーグ009の生誕60周年とシージェッター海斗の20周年のアニバーサリーイヤーにお伺いしました。 シージェッター海斗は、東日本大震災で被災した時に熊本からグランパワーヒノクニが支援に行ったのてすが、その後、熊本地震で被災した時に熊本まで支援に来てくれました✨ その時の御礼を伝えられて良かったです。 石ノ森先生の漫画やアニメや特撮を知らない方でも、キャラクターや原画など様々な作品に触れる事が出来ます。 石ノ森先生のアシスタントである石森プロの早瀬マサト先生が、人には二度死があると仰っておりました。 一度目は肉体の死 二度目は人々から存在が忘れ去られたとき 残念ながら新しい石ノ森作品が産み出される事はもうありませんが、この萬画館は石ノ森先生の偉大な足跡と功績を未来へと繋ぐ施設です。 「時代が望む時、仮面ライダーは必ず蘇る」 未来永劫、石ノ森先生の作品が、仮面ライダーSPIRITSが、受け継がれ愛され続けますように。
