Access in about 20 minutes by car from Tsuruoka IC!
To access the Tsuruoka Municipal Kamo Aquarium using public transportation, take the Shonai Kotsu bus bound for Yunohama Onsen via Kamo from JR Tsuruoka Station and get off at Kamo Aquarium bus stop, which takes about 40 minutes. The aquarium is just a short walk from the bus stop. If you are using a car, it takes about 20 minutes via National Route 112 from Tsuruoka IC on the Yamagata Expressway, which is about 10km away. The aquarium has a parking lot, making it convenient for those coming by car.
