Located in the center of the Muro-Akame-Aoyama National Park, the Akame 48 Waterfalls stretch for about 4 kilometers in length. The waterfall streams, which draw delicate lines, are famous waterfalls selected for many awards such as "Heisei's Top 100 Famous Water Selection" and "Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls". Akame 48 Waterfalls is located near Akameguchi Station on the Kintetsu Osaka Line. From surrounding cities such as Kyoto, Osaka, and Nagoya, you can arrive in less than an hour and a half using the Kintetsu Express. Additionally, there is a bus that takes about 10 minutes from the station to the Akame Falls, so be sure to use it. Note that there is no dedicated parking lot for those arriving by car, so it is recommended to park at the restaurants and souvenir shops along the walking path.
