二度目の訪問。 近くのうなぎ店へ行ったついでに。 この大社の生き馬がかわいい♪ 大きな大社ではないが、生き馬を見れる大社は、余り無いんじゃないかな? 人参は100円お布施すれば、馬に与えられる楽しみ付きだった。 有名なのは、この多度大社では、上げ馬行事が毎年行われていること。 実際見たことはないが、階段横の上げ坂を祭馬(花馬)が馬上を走り坂を駆け上がる、祭りのクライマックスであると説明があった。 機会があれば行って見たい気はするが、駐車場が少ないため、覚悟が必要らしい。 多度大社の、駐車場代金は200円だった。 祭りの時の駐車場代金は? この大社で販売されている、やかもちがもちして、阿闍梨餅にちょっと似てて美味しかった。

いつか必ず、思っていた多度大社にようやく参拝することが叶いました。 「北伊勢大神宮」ともよばれ「お伊勢参らばお多度もかけよ、お多度かけねば片まいり」と詠われてきた古社でもありますが、それを感じさせる佇まい、雰囲気で素晴らしかったです。 養老鉄道の多度駅からだと徒歩30分くらいありますが、暑い時期じゃなければ全然アリだと思えるくらい、景色も含め良い場所だと思います!

5世紀後半に社殿が建てられ、伊勢神宮の御祭神である天照大神の御子神である天津彦根命を主祭神として祀っており、北伊勢大神宮とも呼ばれています。清らかな空気感です。 駐車場前のお店の、かりんとう饅頭が美味しかったです^ ^
