Kokonoe, Taketa, Bungoono

Taketa's castle town is surrounded by steep mountains and can only be accessed through a tunnel, making it an exciting location that feels like a natural fortress. If you want to enjoy the nature of Kokonoe, the "Kuju Flower Park," with 5 million flowers of 500 different species, and the "Kokonoe Yume Grand Suspension Bridge," which offers a view of fresh greenery and autumn leaves from a height of about 173 meters, are both charming. The famous waterfall "Harajiri Falls," which suddenly appears in the rural area, is also known as the Niagara of the Orient. It is a very rare large waterfall brought about by the great eruption of Mount Aso, and you can get surprisingly close to it.
