Oga, Hachirogata

Oga is known as the holy land of "Namahage," a symbol of Akita. You can meet Namahage at various events and festivals throughout the city, but the "Namahage Museum" is a popular spot where you can learn about Namahage culture and even transform yourself into a Namahage for a photo shoot.
